About the Department of Theory and Methods of Teaching Artistic Disciplines

The department of theory and teaching methods of artistic disciplines was created in 2017 as a result of the reorganization of the departments of music education and choreography. V. P. Kotlyar and V. Yu. Dykareva were the heads of the department at different times. O. D. Buzova, A. I. Omelchenko, I. V. Dubinets, O. V. Martynenko, V. V. Burnazova.

Today, the team is headed by Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Olena Buzova

The department constantly organizes methodical seminars for music teachers of the city and district, conducts advanced training courses.

Thanks to the efforts of the teaching staff of the department at the Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Education and Arts, student life is very rich and bright.

The pride of the department is the ensembles with the honorary title "Folk": folk ensemble of folk song "Zolotyi Gomin" (leader - docent Olena Buzova), folk orchestra of folk instruments (leader senior teacher Yu. V. Smakovsky), folk instrumental ensemble of folk music "Colorful Music ", folk folklore ensemble "Khurtovyna" associate professor and. n. Pashchenko.
